WINE CRAFTING PROCESS
What To Expect
At Deja Brew, we have several wine varieties available to craft. The process included in every package takes place over TWO SESSIONS. The first session is dedicated to crafting the wine and during the second session (scheduled four weeks after your first session, which is the time it takes to ferment the wine) you will bottle your wine. It will take approximately one half hour from start to finish for the wine making session, and approximately 1.5 hours to bottle your wine. Please call for an appointment and let us know which wine you would like to make. If we don’t have it in stock we will order it for you if it is available from our distributors.
Session 1: Crafting

You will be guided through each step of the process, beginning with sanitizing your fermentation vessel and mixing equipment.

Don’t worry, you won’t be stomping grapes barefoot! The next step is adding the wine concentrate into the vessel.

Then you will measure and fill the vessel with filtered water, then add the yeast, clarfier, mix well and then seal the vessel. Additional steps may be required based on your wine selection.

The fermentation process takes four weeks, depending on the style of wine you chose. During this time, your wine will be stored in our temperature controlled rooms.
Session 2: Bottling

When you return, your wine will have gone through our racking/filtering process. You will be able to bottle, cork and label your very own wine.

Bring it home, enjoy, empty and repeat!
